Government Emerging Technology Alliance sponsored the second annual DCGS Worldwide Conference and Expo, which took place in Denver, Colorado from 29 April to 1 May. The widespread consensus was that the event gathered powerful speakers, appropriate attendees and knowledgeable technology exhibitors. The conference convened more than 980 attendees and featured 100 companies exhibiting mission-related technologies.

Ms. Nancy Wheeler, GETA's Executive Director, and Mr. Chris Jackson, Chief, Integration Division, Joint Transformation Command - Intelligence, U.S. Joint Forces Command, opened the conference Tuesday morning, introducing Congressman Ed Perlmutter who welcomed the DCGS conference to his home state.

Mr. Jackson continued the week as emcee, introducing an impressive lineup of distinguished speakers including Lieutenant General John R. Wood, Deputy Commander, U.S. Joint Forces Command and Lieutenant General Richard P. Zahner, Deputy Under Secretary of Defense (Intelligence) for Warfighter Support.

GETA's leadership thanked U.S. Joint Forces Command for supporting the conference and creating the agenda. Without that support, the conference would not have been such a great success. GETA also thanked its strategic partner, National Conference Services, Inc., for its flawless execution of event logistics.
